METIS is a media-comprehensive software package for the exchange of data between different applications. METIS offers integration of heterogeneous data sources, semantic search and transformation of content for the representation for various publication platforms like Web, PC, PDA or Mobile Phone.

METIS is an proprietary development from the Research Studio Digital Memory Engineering (DME). With METIS DME offers an infrastructure for a rapid development of customized multimedia applications.
